Is the water cold? Do I need a wetsuit?Yes, the water can be cold, particularly in winter, so a 4/3 mm wetsuit would be suitable. In spring and autumn, a 3/2 mm wetsuit should suffice. During summer, the sea water temperature in Morocco is generally warmer, but it can still vary. While some may feel comfortable with a short suit during the summer months, it's not always the case, so it's best to be prepared with a wetsuit.

When is the best season to surf in Morocco? The surfing season in Morocco fluctuates based on location and wave preference. Typically, the prime surfing months span from October to March, offering ample opportunities for catching large and consistent waves. During this period, the Atlantic coast benefits from swells originating from both the north and south, resulting in optimal conditions for right-hand point breaks. Throughout the off-peak surfing season, running from April to September, there remains an abundance of waves suitable for beginners and intermediate surfers keen on honing their skills.
